DR.GURPREET SINGH KOCHAR

Dr Gurpreet Singh Kochar is a senior consultant Paediatric Neurologist. He graduated from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) Rohtak completed his MD in
Paediatrics from the same institute.

He further completed DM Pediatric Neurology(3-year programme) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He acquired extensive training in diagnosing and managing neurological and developmental problems in children.

He has 15 years of experience in field of Pediatric Neurology. After completing DM
(Pediatric Neurology) in 2010, he joined SPS Apollo Hospital Ludhiana in February 2011
and remained associated with SPS hospitals for 10 years. He also runs pediatric neurology clinics in various cities of Punjab like Jalandhar (Ankur Hospital), Bathinda (Maheshwari hospital and Chandigarh hospital), Kotkapura (Chandigarh hospital) and Amritsar (Florem hospital). He is part of Sambhav Child Development Centre Ludhiana (Pakhowal Road and Tilak Nagar) which is a multidisciplinary integrated early intervention centre which cater to needs of children with Autistic Spectrum disorders, ADHD, Learning problems and developmental delay. He is also active member of High-risk neonatal clinic in collaboration with neonatology team.

Dr Kochar is dedicated to the field of Child Neurology in India to improve patient
care and continues to be actively involved in child neurology research, teaching, and training. He has expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of children with neurological problems and developmental disorders like Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Headache, Behavioural disorders (Autism, ADHD), Nerve & muscle disorders, Neuro-metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases.
